Published — New Edition in Development
BORN RARE
Emma Kwon's English-language memoir. Originally published in Kindle, paperback, and hardcover editions — a newly reimagined literary edition is now in editorial development.
A quiet gateway into Emma Kwon's publishing universe — books, memoirs, music, and rare voices, shaped with care and intelligence.

We work slowly, on purpose. Every title that carries our name has been read closely, argued over, and shaped by hand before it is allowed to leave the room.
We believe a book is still one of the few places where a life can be told without apology. Our work is to protect that space — for the writer, and for the reader who will meet them there.
This is a house built for the long life of a voice, not the short life of a launch.
We publish few books a year, by design. Each one is chosen for the life it can lead, not the quarter it can fill.

A global, AI-assisted music project — three albums and twenty tracks released to date.
ForthcomingA manuscript from another writer, currently being shaped inside the Atelier.
Amazing Tiger Publishing is the publishing imprint inside the wider Emma Kwon and EMMAESTRO universe — a house for memoir, literary nonfiction, music-adjacent writing, and carefully assisted new forms of creation.
We are small by choice. Every manuscript is read by the same few people, from first pages to final proof.
For selected authors, founders, artists, and memoir writers, the Atelier turns a manuscript, an archive, or an unwritten story into a finished, considered book.
A life, shaped into a book that reads like one.
The story behind a company or a body of work, told properly.
A brand's voice and history, bound.
Visual work translated carefully into printed form.
Stories for the next generation, made with the same care.
Technology in service of the writer, never in place of one.
Journals, objects, prints, and studio goods from the Amazing Tiger universe — not merchandise, but objects with memory and voice.

A quiet companion for readers who want to write beside the book.

A studio tote for books, notebooks, headphones, and a private universe in motion.

A morning object for writers, readers, and minds that move too fast.

I started this house because I kept meeting stories that didn't fit anywhere — too quiet for the market, too true for the trend cycle. Amazing Tiger Publishing is where those stories are allowed to stay whole.
I still edit every line myself, before anyone else sees it. That will not change as the house grows.

I started this house because I kept meeting stories that didn't fit anywhere — too quiet for the market, too true for the trend cycle. Amazing Tiger Publishing is where those stories are allowed to stay whole.
Before any of this, I trained and worked in software. I still bring that instinct to publishing — I would rather build a careful system once than repeat the same manual work on every book.
I still edit every line myself, before anyone else sees it. That will not change as the house grows.
Now I want to offer that same care to you — to stand beside you and help your story reach the world in writing that does it justice.
Emma Kwon is the founder and creative director of Amazing Tiger Publishing. She began her working life as a programmer, then spent many years raising two children and caring for a home.
When her children were grown and the age of AI arrived, she went back to school and began learning, writing, and making things again. She did not begin with a clear plan. She learned one step at a time.
That path led to her English-language memoir, BORN RARE — she handled the manuscript, the editorial direction, the visual identity, and the Amazon KDP release herself, from the product pages to the promotional material.
That process became the starting point for Amazing Tiger Publishing. The house has since grown beyond her own titles to include manuscript development for other writers — helping a story find its own shape without losing the voice that made it worth writing.
She believes ordinary people can begin again, even later than expected. Staying curious, staying teachable, and helping good stories find their form — that is how she runs the house.
A small, working list of what Amazing Tiger Publishing has actually made — not a portfolio of intentions.

Amazing Tiger Publishing is a founder-led studio. These are the parts of the process Emma Kwon carries out herself, on every project.
Amazing Tiger Publishing is currently a founder-centered, one-person studio. Emma Kwon uses AI tools as a long-term production system — for drafting, review passes, and quality checks — rather than as a substitute for editorial judgment.
When a project needs outside expertise, she brings in project-based collaborators rather than maintaining a fixed in-house team. There is no standing editorial staff, in-house print facility, or permanent design department — the house is built to stay small on purpose.
The same direction extends to the web: Emma Kwon designs and builds her own site and the Amazing Tiger Publishing site herself — information architecture, copy, and visual direction — alongside select commissioned brand and creative web projects.
If you are weighing whether to bring a manuscript, an archive, or an unfinished project here, the work above is the clearest answer: this is what actually gets made, and how closely it is held. If it speaks to what you are building, the next step is simply a conversation.

Most books are actually written in the second draft. The first is just the excavation.
A title is a promise made quietly. It should be kept, not announced.
If a sentence cannot survive being read aloud, it is not finished yet.
Membership is access, not a mailing list. It opens a private reading room within the house — where new work, and the people making it, can be met before the rest of the world arrives.
If you are working on a memoir, a literary project, or something harder to name, we would like to hear about it. Every inquiry is read personally.
