Book Making Atelier

Where a life becomes a book.

For selected authors, founders, artists, and memoir writers, Amazing Tiger's Atelier turns a manuscript, an archive, a voice, or an unwritten story into a finished, considered book.

Not every book begins as a manuscript. Some begin as a box of photographs, a brand no one has written down yet, a voice memo, or a story only half told. The Atelier exists for that earlier stage — where the material is real, but the book is not yet.

We work in small numbers, with people we choose to work with. Every project is guided by the same editorial hand that shapes our published list.

What the Atelier makes

Each project is scoped individually. This is the range of work we take on.

Memoirs

A life, shaped into a book that reads like one.

Founder Stories

The story behind a company or a body of work, told properly.

Brand Books

A brand's voice and history, bound.

Artist Books

Visual work translated carefully into printed form.

Children's Books

Stories for the next generation, made with the same care.

AI-Assisted Creative Books

Technology in service of the writer, never in place of one.

Multilingual Editions

A book prepared to be read in more than one language.

KDP-Ready Publishing Packages

Print-ready files prepared to specification.

Author Websites

A quiet, considered home for a writer online.

Book Launch Assets

The material a launch actually needs, nothing more.

Editorial Design Systems

A consistent design language across a body of work.

Private Consultation

A quiet first conversation about the work, before anything is scoped.

How a book gets made here

The same sequence, every time — nothing skipped, nothing rushed to fit a deadline.

1

Consultation

We read what you bring us personally, and talk plainly about what the finished book should be.

2

Editorial Read

The full material — manuscript, archive, or story — is read start to finish by the same editorial hand.

3

Shaping

Structure, sequence, and voice are worked out before a single page is designed. Usually the slowest stage, and the most important.

4

Design & Typesetting

Typography, layout, and materials are chosen for this book specifically — never pulled from a template.

5

Proofing

A final, quiet pass — checked line by line before anything is prepared for print.

6

Delivery

A finished, print-ready book — prepared to real production specification, ready to be read, gifted, or launched.

What we hold to

A short list of standards the Atelier does not compromise on.

One editorial hand

The same editor who shapes our published list edits your book, from the first read to the final proof.

A limited number of projects

We take on few projects at a time, on purpose, so each one gets real attention instead of a rushed slot in a queue.

No template treatment

Typography, structure, and materials are chosen for the specific book — never pulled from a stock design library.

Prepared to specification

Every book leaves the Atelier print-ready to real production specification, not just finished to look at.

Who Makes This

This process is carried out by one person, from the first read to the final proof. Emma Kwon's own published and released works — not a portfolio of intentions — are the clearest proof of how the Atelier actually works.

Who this is for

The Atelier is selective by design. We take on a limited number of projects at a time, for clients ready to give a serious piece of work the attention it deserves — authors, founders, artists, and memoir writers with something worth binding.
